because. let me explain. lets say u went shopping at the mall. when u entered each store u had to register in order to do any business. how many stores would you go in? what if u had to register to every store, resturaurant, ie macdonels, burger king, post office, tire store, etc. i bet u would not go to many stores. same applies on the net, those that have ppl register do not get as many ppl/visitors as the public/open ones.
i for one have registered to more sites than i can remember and have trouble keeping up with all the usernames and passwords.
i will just stick to a few sites.
if it be then i will just buy a new equipment than having to register to each and every site.
yes, i do freguent a few sites and registered with them but its hard enough remember those passwords and names, i will not use a password manager, cause there are ppl who use programs to steal ones passwords, ie hotmail.com passwords is a common one ppl steal

Please note that if you register with a genuine e-mal address with this board you don't need to remember your password.

Because if you forget like I do then all you have to do is submit your e-mail address.
