I HAVE 3 VICTA 600 MOWERS, 1 OLD (5YEARS)
WHICH WORKS WELL IN LONG AND SHORT GRASS.
TWO MOWERS ARE 1 YEAR OLD AND 1 3 MTHS OLD.
MY PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN THE TWO NEW MOWERS ARE USED IN LONG GRASS 6"(150MM)OR LONGER
THE REV'S DO NOT PICK UP QUICKLY OR SUFFICIENTLY TO CUT THE GRASS PROPERLY.
i BELIEVE THAT THE PROBLEM IS RELATED TO THE SPRING OR SPRINGS IN THE CARBURETTOR- PART NO'S CRO3417A AND CRO3635A.
I NOTE THAT THE UK LISTED RETURN SPRING IS 150G WHAT WOULD BE THE EFFECT OF UTILISING THE OTHER SPRING LISTED CRO3638A
SEVERAL MECHANICS(???) HAVE ATTEMPTED TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM WHICH I HAVE QUIERIED BEFORE BUT TO NO AVAIL-ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED, BRIAN.

Their is different spring pressures that go in the governor which allows quicker reaction when you get into longer grass. The mechanic should be able to get the springs from his supplier.
