My guess is that it has been modified to fit, I have contemplated things like that over the time but I am not going to buy it at that price so I can find out what they have done

Yes AVB, I have never seen a small 2 stroke remote primer on a briggs either
And I simply can't think how to plumb it in

Some of the earlier Quantums had a remote primer which was normally mounted down on the side on the fuel tank just behind the air filter. It is plumbed in much the same way a Talon primer is plumbed into the carb. I think in this case it's just a dodgy replacement primer for the usual style of primer we're accustomed to seeing on Quantums.
