Just saw this Quantum on gumtree

Looks like there is a primer mounted on the metal bracket behind the filter housing

I know most of these use the choke carby, and any quantum I have seen with a primer ha it built into the plastic filter housing

How is this primer plumbed in?

Now you got curiosity up as I haven't seen a Walbro style primer on a mower engine.

My guess is that it has been modified to fit, I have contemplated things like that over the time but I am not going to buy it at that price so I can find out what they have done

Yes AVB, I have never seen a small 2 stroke remote primer on a briggs either

And I simply can't think how to plumb it in

Some of the earlier Quantums had a remote primer which was normally mounted down on the side on the fuel tank just behind the air filter. It is plumbed in much the same way a Talon primer is plumbed into the carb. I think in this case it's just a dodgy replacement primer for the usual style of primer we're accustomed to seeing on Quantums.
