Hi, was wondering if there is a way to replace a bearing in a belt pulley that encases the bearing both sides? Like split the pulley down the centre somehow, replace the bearing then reassemble the pulley with weld spots or something. Seems to be a waste of pulleys because the bearings are shot.

Thanks

Are you sure they dont press out? If its just a simple idler pulley off a ride-on (mostly throwaway pulleys) those types are not that expensive

I would certainly not recommend cutting and rewelding pulleys.

What product is it off?

You know that you can get after market pulleys just need the measurements. Here is what you need to get to be able to get the right after market pulley.
