Here we go with another drama (you have to love this old rusted greenfield).
can anybody know the secret to remove the front part of steering

i try Inox and hitting really hard the bolt doesn't move back.

I cannot try unscrewing it as I have no clearance on the back.

I have had that bolt out on an Anniversary model and I can't remember too much about it, I'm sure I just punched it back, pretty sure it is just rusted in there. Put the nut back on before hitting it so you don't damage the thread

Do you have the means to heat it?

Slash, it is inside a square tube, I doubt heat will help because you can't get close to the bolt. pretty sure it needs the nut back on and a good hit with a mash hammer, and more penetrene squirted at the bolt where you can. I'm sure the 2 bits of flat welded each side are just to stop the bolt turning as you tighten the nut

The welded flat bar does look like it's just to hold the bolt. If Inox and a big hammer can't move it I'd heat the bolt at both ends. They still make bolts if it If it doesn't end well for the bolt.

G'day folks,

That bolt will def come out- or is designed to, at least.

Possibly, as well as rust your fighting a wear groove and burr. They've always come out for me in the past.

Hit it with a bigger hammer.....using care, of course smile

Yep, the old adage rings true, If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!
