Can anyone please advise me how to adjust the cutting height on a model 65 mower?
I subscribed to the parts and manual section but I can't find any information on this mower.
If anyone has a copy of a manual I would greatly appreciate it Thanks
Colin

htnut, Well the file has now be uploaded all 40 pages which has the owners manual and parts list. Note that this is quite a large file 2.53mb. You will find a lot of information regarding your mower.

Hi Bruce
Can you identify the engine on the mower I have? It is a model 65029 and it has a Briggs and Stratton 5 HP engine. I can post pictures if that would help
Thanks

htnut, All you need to do is check the cowling (the metal engine cover) and it will have numbers stamped in it Model Type Code(either above the spark plug or on the exhaust side). The engine should be a 5hp I/C engine.

I managed to download a parts list from the Briggs & Stratton site but could not find any repair or operating manuals. I am a novice when it comes to engines so any additional information will be most useful. Please could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the warm welcome Deejay. I would be happy to post some pictures. Can you please tell me how to do it on this forum? Hi htnut, I personally prefer 'Photobucket' which is a free download; (just google it)once that is done the instructions for uploading are in a post by Bruce,it is in the "Help" topic, sub-forum 'Forum features' just scroll till you find the post for Photobucket.....Ezy-peezy

Tell us what area you are looking at for the repair and we will upload what you require to the parts list and manuals area of the forum. Hi Bruce If the manual is not too large could you upload the whole manual? I have been told by Briggs that the part number is 270962 If that is not possible I require information on routine servicing, the pull starter, changing oil, Carbi service and air cleaner service Also can you please recommend someone located near the north shore who can sharpen the cylinder? Thanks again
