Wow I finally got one.A VC-160 Mark I off eBay in Ringwood. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/10/full-5048-3620-on_ebay.jpg) Now I have two rings for the starter both broken,but I'm sure I can fix one up.I'm happy I have finally have got one.wwhhoo!!!

Green for that one, I think just some VC-125's, the auto drives, and the replacement part catcher were black.

I will put it, pride of place in the back of the car.
Are the starters grey or green?? I grabbed a green one yesterday off a mower at the scrap yard. Only go 3 of the bolts though, damn thing was wound up and the 4th bolt went flying.

Not sure how much of a challenge you are up for but it might be possible to resin cast up a new one. Would be a bit of work and experimenting but it could be done.
The hub caps are a bit sun damaged looking at them up close. Not sure how brittle they will be. I think i might have some of them in my Victa box in the shed.

Yes I guess that could be a problem with the caps.As it does seem that this mower has seen it's fair share of sun.I guess if you have some that are better that would be great.After all you are there and can see it better than what photos can show.
