Green for that one, I think just some VC-125's, the auto drives, and the replacement part catcher were black.

Cheers

I will put it, pride of place in the back of the car.

Are the starters grey or green??
I grabbed a green one yesterday off a mower at the scrap yard. Only go 3 of the bolts though, damn thing was wound up and the 4th bolt went flying.

Cheers, bob.

Hate to be the bearer or bad news but the ring is not much chop.

Base is excellent. Height control is seized. Starter works, motor turns over.

[Censored] I see what you mean about the ring. However there is still good news.As I now have this ring.

So hopefully I will be able to cut out the missing section from that one and be able to put it into this one.Paint it and hopefully I will be able to make it look good.Still as you said the base still looks ok,also the front and back wheels look very good. The hub caps also look good,I need some of those.Even the cowl looks good.I still think it's a good buy for $16.50 still a lot I can use. It's a bonus the engine turns over.If you get bored (If that's anything like me,then yeah right)you can have a go at starting it if you like. Thanks for picking it up Bob.Sad about the ring but still a great purchase. Also your ride on has arrived here safely I will get some pictures of it today and make a post of it.Not sure what to call it as I don't know exactly what it is,but I'll work something out.

Not sure how much of a challenge you are up for but it might be possible to resin cast up a new one. Would be a bit of work and experimenting but it could be done.

The hub caps are a bit sun damaged looking at them up close. Not sure how brittle they will be.
I think i might have some of them in my Victa box in the shed.

Yes I guess that could be a problem with the caps.As it does seem that this mower has seen it's fair share of sun.I guess if you have some that are better that would be great. After all you are there and can see it better than what photos can show.
