I have seen bits for these every now and then, not often though, but i will make sure to mention to you is i see anyone selling bits for one.

And there is a starter on its own at tiny', over near the whip[per sippers, on the second lot of shelving, that may fit that turner.

Yeah I'm not sure what I'm doing with that one yet.I have found a Victa four star base as I'm going to make the Victa four star with it.Not sure if it is exactly the right engine, but it's close enough as they are hard to find as well.

Once you get the mower, it wont be to hard to work out if its the right engine, odds are, as you say, its close enough.

The cowl may be a little different, but that's something that can be fixed when you get the right cowl.

No the cowl looks the same the only thing is I need it to be Kirby Lauson engine (Which it looks very much like one) with a Walbro LMG 134 carby. Not sure what I just wrote took that straight out of the book, and something about an L engine.Don't know if that's right either. It looks fairly close to it thought.

I have heard that term before, i think its something to do with Valve positioning, but i'm not sure!

Wooo Hooo got the twin working.Or should I say I got it to rev.The only problem is.In the start position it revs and when it goes to run it idles. It must be from opposite land. What on earth have I done wrong?

The seller of the twin in nagambie has tried to cancel the auction with the Twin.Didn't give a reason as to why.I bet I know why.It did say they would sell out side of eBay.I bet you a trillion dollars the guy that didn't get it contacted them and said he would pay more. Can't prove that....yet.What would eBay do if they knew that's what was going on?

Tell him you will get onto ebay, once you have won the action, that is binding!

If you win, it has to go to you, and ebay will come hard if he sold it, and did not cancell the auction before it ended!

Well that what I think as well. You can't make a deal and then change it later on,maybe as somebody has made a better offer. It's not really how it works.

You can pull an auction down if it is still ticking (as your mate in QLD did) especially if there is no bidders, but once its finnished, and somone has won, Ebay will hold that!

Well thought I would put this out there see if anybody could help me.Got my Twin (Goliath) running,or should I say I can now get it to idle and rev. However on the throttle control it is backwards. What I mean is,when it is in the start position it revs and when it is in the run position it idles.I have tried to adjust the throttle control adjuster all to no avail. It isn't running the same carby as it had on it.As one of the vacuum pipes broke of it when removing it.So it is running an LM carby. That doesn't seem to be the issue,it just is around the wrong way.Anybody have any ideas as to how to fix this problem? Help me get Goliath running the way a warlord should.

I would think it is due to the LM, the reason it Revs in the start position, is becase that position acts as a choke, giving it a rich mix.

However, Being am LM, the main jet will be the wrong size, and just wont be giving it the guts to go when the choke is off.

I will be around next week with a G4 Body for you, that should fix the issue.

Ok man I hope so,as I want to start the restore on Goliath. So at least when the other one gets here(Fingers crossed,no more problems with that)I will be able to sort the base and cowl.I just like to have every thing else sorted before it gets here.I just want it going properly before I do that so I know every thing is good. Even-though I'm having these problems I am happy I decided to get it,and will be happy then Goliath looks new again.

What parts of goliath's origional carby do you still have.

In particular it would be good if you have the 2 springs, and the main jet/screw

I think I still have all of Goliath's carby.Except for the diaphragm cover cause it was buggered.I still have the carby housing. Not that I can use it as the back vacuum hose has broken of.I just kept it all together in-case it had to be used again.
