I need help with an OLD victa mower.
What I think is the model sticker is partially torn off but ends with "...OOM 25" and then has the picture of the petrol flow control on/off positions.
I have tried to replace the starter cord but suspect that the recoil spring is damaged as the pulley won't rewind more than about two turns and doesn't roll up the full length of the new cord.
Can you help me with correct diagnosis and some direction here?

What type of carby is on the mower Plastic or Metal?
Does the mower have a catcher?
Is the tank plastic or metal?

Hi Victa Man,
The carby is plastic.
The mower has a catcher.
The fueltank is plastic and in one unit with the pulley cover which fits onto the mower top with three screws.

Dear Victa Man,
I just looked through this list and think I need exactly the same info as the last fella:
I dismantled my startercord retract mechanism and now I don't know how to put it back together. There is a funny bracket in there that will help if I know what to do with it.
I own a Victa Corvette 160cc 2 stroke Electonic ignition.
