Greetings from a new Member. Morrison Olympic 600 was cutting however the blades started to intermittently stop rotating while mowing. The blades have subsequently stopped rotating. The drive chains are rotating fine but the shaft with the blades on is stationery inside the chain sprocket. Unsure of the mechanics of the drive but on disassembly the very solid spring appears to have sheared one end - it this like a tension spring to transmit the drive from the chain to the shaft and if so where can I get a replacement? Photos attached of the sprocket and attaching parts in disassembly sequence along with the photo of the spring. Regards
Here is the parts list for the 600 model cylinder mower and being so old it could be hard to get parts for. You might have to change the cutter cylinder to a later model which could be expensive.
