AMC Explorer XL Belts

Hi, I am (very slowly) rebuilding a previously abused AMC Explorer XL. I looked at every thread and have subscribed and downloaded the parts manual which is very useful, but I can't work out how to change the engine drive belt. Do I need to remove the pulley to do so? Does anyone have instructions/ pictures please?

Hi AMC,
I have no idea but you may have to remove a belt keeper to get the belt on, usually the rear engine ones are fairly straight forward
