Good afternoon all,

I am in the process of fixing up a victa imperial 16, from my research (and a lot of resources from this fine forum) I have identified it as a very early model HK25F using the walbro GEW.175B2 carb. The mower is in great condition and should look amazing once its all finished(Idea is antique white/with Jarrah rollers) but at the moment I am stuck trying to find a rebuild kit for the Walbro. can anyone assist with a rebuild part number, or if one of the later Tecumseh ones are suitable as I have found replacement units still available. Attached are images of carb and both side measurements. I do apologies for the wonky image I was trying to hold the rule and take a photo at the same time.

When I did mine I had to make all my own gaskets. I sourced o-rings and washers from champion assortments and resoldered the leaky float bowl. The special shaped fuel hose I got by cutting up a hose from a car that had one section that was, more or less, the right shape in one small section, I made a spring by pulling one out of a miniature gun irrigator garden sprinkler and reshaping it.

If you do find a source of good bits please let us all know! I would be very interested.

Cheers Ironbark, I thought that was going to be the case I have found some similar Walbro parts for a later model that suits early LMB carbs model 175 and 177 (off the top of my head) I just need to measure up and if they are close enough order a kit. If it works out I will post all part numbers and websites.
