Hi,
The deck on my Evo 14/32 is fairly stuffed. Somebody has offered me a 34" deck as the engine on his mower is cactus. Just wondering whether the bigger deck will cause problems. I have a new 17.5 hp engine on mine so cutting power won't be a problem.
Regards

Hi bravo,
not sure but I don't think there would be any difference in the mounting points. Why would he not just put a new motor on his, seems a pity to trash an Evo because the motor failed

Yes, I agree, he said he had to fix serious problems with the motor twice in 3 months. But anyway, he's offered it to me. I might just take him up on the offer.

One thing is as sure as night and day is that regardless of his motor situation, the rains will come, the sun will shine and then the grass will grow and he will have to cut it somehow. Anyway I'm fairly sure the deck will fit, The chassis mounting points should all be the same on the Evos, and the deck is only a couple of inches wider so the deck pick up points would be the same

The only thing you may run into is that the 32 may have a shorter frame, especially if it is an older evolution. its only 2" overall difference but that may be enough for problems when it comes to clearance with the steer tyres. I haven't ever done it so I can't say for sure.

Hi nath,
it should only come 1" forward shouldn't be a problem but you never know
