I re-checked the oil level and it is not over-filled. The drain is clear and the mesh is clean. The PCV valve looks worn where the cover "dimple" makes contact with it. I turned the valve over so that the underside of the valve is now on the top as that part is not worn. On starting the engine it again leaked oil at a pretty good rate. I am thinking now that crankcase pressure must be too high for some reason. Any suggestions?
