Hi seanstuch, the pics that I was asking for was the side view of the whole mower chain case. As I suspected, that sprocket above has had its chips with pointy teeth and plenty of wear...what are the rest of the sprockets like?
Never having seen a Thoroughbred I don't know how the reel would be removed...I suspect that you may have to remove both the reel bearing hangers complete...they sometimes pivot on one bolt at one end and secured at the other end by the cylinder height adjusters. Can you please post some pics of the machine as we're flying blind here.
