SO!
Ive fitted the belt and go to reassemble the drive assy off the clutch and the huge spring that holds the drive cradle to the bloody clutch is busted.......
Seems as the deck drive belt de laminated it caught the spring and tore it off the assy busting the loop on the end.
SO!
Off to Leongatha for a new one the day before cup day and that friday it arrives, much chunkier than the old one so now Ive got to fit the bugger.
Might even cure the problem with the yoke popping off the thrust bearing!
