Hi, My friend is looking for a glow plug for his 4 WD mini tractor. It's a 9 volt glow plug
It's a 27 hp 4wd tractor.

Bolens 2704 [G274} / Iseki TE4270/F S. tractor.
Glow plug is marked JKC 4F 9V
Part number from book is1870256 and 6581-410-0610-0

I went to Wilsons who were pleased to help, their input was....
Thread is 10x1.25. [measured with thread gauge]
Diameter of thread is 9.55 mm. [measured with vernier]

I just thought someone might know something about this , hope it's not too off topic....
cheers
speedy

Hi Speedy, that seems like it might be a difficult one to find, I can't find any with 10mm thread.

G'day Speedy,
That part number corresponds to a M16x1.5 thread glow plug, according to every online listing I can find. The pic looks like 16mm, too.
The voltage rating is a bit of an oddball, so finding an aftermarket replacement is likely to be difficult.

Check this 'fast parts' list from the Oz Iseki agents; two different size glow plugs are listed for the TE4270 - page 33.

Looks like there is an Iseki dealer in Bundaberg, so they would be worth trying. http://www.iseki.com.au/iseki-dealers

Hi speedy
Sounds like you're busy as...
The bench looks good.
I got on to the bundy dealer for Iseki, he was very helpful, they can get me one in for $75, I might have to bite the bullet.
Second hand looks a big ask.
Fired up the whipper snipper, it seems fine, will use it on the lighter growth.
Need rain.
Cheers,
Chris.

Cheers, speedy.

My take on this is, it's not worth spending a lot of time chasing all over the planet, to find a cheapo aftermarket part, of probably dubious quality.

A [admittedly tightfisted] bloke I know insisted on fitting a set of cheapo replacement glow plugs in his HZJ75 series Landcruiser.
Didn't end well - one of the things dropped its end into a cylinder, and did significant damage...

Cheers,
Gadge
