The chassis was updated to reflect more modern styling (the auto grill was out).
The new base reminds me of the
Supa-Swift mowers at that time.

I wonder whether the last Lawn Patrol chassis were made by Swift Foundries?
Both were Melbourne companies...
The last Lawn Patrols were living on borrowed time.
No grass catcher available, and no rear discharge model on the horizon...
This must have been a painful death for a once-proud lawnmower maker.
Side discharge mowers were on the outer in the 1960s � particularly if they
could not take a catcher. By late 1962, if you could not offer the new rear
catcher jobs you had to take note to survive the decade.
The last ads for Boundy I have come from
1962.
