Hello
ODK History Lovers
I cant say I understand the reason(s) why the
Wiltshire File Company took
over the
John Boundys Company in the late 1950s.
Its pretty clear that, whilst Wiltshire did expend considerable capital on the
development of the mower in the late 1950s, the plan suddenly changed at
the beginning of the 1960s.
Wiltshire
abandoned the Boundy engine with a sell-off announced in
April of
1961. If the Boundy lawnmower would survive it would be without the heart
and soul of the unique Boundy 2-stroke.

The Boundy lawnmower did survive after this for a short time.
Can you guess the new power-plant?
