Yes I am new and maybe a silly question to ask but as a woman wanting to have a go, How do I remove the lead attached to spark plug, as it has snapped. The orange cover part has completely split also.kimmi

kimmi,

If you get a 19mm tube spanner you will be able to remove the spark plug (turn anti clockwise) and you should be able to get it from your local mower shop or hardware store.

The plug cover you will have to buy that from the mower shop and cost about $3.00 aznd the spanner around $8.00. cheers2

Her question was "How do I remove the lead attached to spark plug" So no I am wondering "How do I remove the lead attached to spark plug" To remove the LEAD it needs to come off the plug (easy) but what about the other end?

The lead is physically stuck to the ignition coil which if you really have to remove it involves pulling the motor off the base.

The orange plug boot if thats all your after is easily removable by turning it back and forward a bit it will slowly work off. This part should be available separately.
