Hi all. Am new to this forum and reel mowers. I hope to contribute later as my knowledge increases.
My immediate requirement is for info on a Scott Bonnar Model 33 reel mower I have recently acquired. It is in pretty good condition.
The problem I have is (don't laugh) that it seems to be too fast. It takes off like a startled gazelle and I really have to stride out to keep up. Great if you want to finish the lawn in half the time, but I think there might be some mismatch in the gear train.
Does anyone have any information or pictures on the chain and belt drive on this model. The only way I can slow it down is to slip the clutch and that aint good.
If you have any manuals in the appropriate section Bruce, I have donated when I registered.
Thanks in advance - Brod
