I was wondering if anyone had an owners manual for a 5/26 Victa Ride on Mower. Victa tell me these ride ons were made by MTD however they do not have a manual for it or any parts. I have the manual for the Briggs and stratton engine mounted on the ride on but not the owners manual, which I trust has belt sizes and adjustment information. Would greatly appreciate any assistance. Cheers

Hi Sreddit, welcome to Outdoorking.

The manuals section of this site has an Illustrated Parts List for that model, but not the owner manual.

Hi Sreddit, and a warm welcome to OutdoorKing.
I am at present doing some research for you to see if we can access an Owners Manual for you....However, I must admit the info is pretty thin on the ground, one of our forum members may be able to help and post here...I will keep looking. wink

Once again, :welcome: to OutdoorKing.
cheers

Thanks Darryl. I was reading an earlier conversation regarding a 5/26 and they said there was a manual in the manual section on this forum but I cannot find it. I think I need to change drive belts and may need other maintenance to get it all operating up to standard. Cheers Stephen (sreddit)

The parts list is in the ride-on mowers manuals section, under Victa. Note that the manuals section is a subscription area, though.

Hey all,
I recently brought a Victa 5/25 Ride on Lawn mower and am planing on doing a complete restoration on it and restore it back to how it would of looked when first manufactured.. I was just wondering if anyone would know anything about the Jacky Pully?
When I start the mower, the cutter blade automaticly starts...
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Hurley_97. smile

You must raise the deck to the top setting. At this setting the deck slides back and loosens the belt whilst also engaging the blade brake.

If you are at the top setting and the blade is still engaged, either the brake is worn out (I have never reaplaced one) the belt is too short or all the linkages and slides are so worn that there is not enough travel left and doesn't fully raise and disengage the deck.

I've done a lot of work on these over the years I looks forward to some pics.

Hope that helps

Hi do you have any photos and/or dimensions of the two engine pulleys? I need to know these since mine is missing these, the part numbers dont exist but I can likely get and MTD one if I know the dimensions. Basically the spacing between the two pulleys and the diameters. Thanks
