I have a Ryobi Grass Ranger whipper snipper (22cc). When I try and start it the pull cord just pulls all the way out and of course the motor doesn't even try and start. It's been working fine but this sort of thing always happens when you have lots of edges to trim.
any ideas?

Where the starter connects to the flywheel you have a small plastic lug which has most probably broken or fell out so without that lug the engine will not start. If I have time I will put a parts list up on the board.
