I have used my McCulloch Eager Beaver 2010 (factory reconditioned) about 8 months when the "stop switch" failed. The saw would not shut down. Has anyone had this problem? I think a loose or damaged wire is the problem, but am not sure, and would like some suggestions before I take it apart.
I would check first that the wire on the stop switch has not come off before you pull it down. :Wavey:
The next step would be to trace the earth wire from the stop switch and make sure that it is not broken and you can test this with a multi meter(it will also show if the switch is working properly).

Bruce
