Hello,

I have a B&S model 92908, It will start and run very slow for a few seconds then die. If I hold the choke plate open (with the air filter off) it runs fine. What could be stopping the auto choke from opening after it has started? I have dismantled and cleaned the carby completely, the diaphragm and needle looks fine. Thanks for any suggestions.

Go to the link below to get parts list as I think when you cleaned the carby you put the spring(Pump) on the wrong side of the diaphram. It should be on the carby side not the tank side.
