My Victa Commando starts beautifully first pull. However, it will not restart if it runs out of fuel and needs to be refilled or if I stop it and try to restart it. I have to wait till it cools down and then go through the cold start procedure and off it goes beatifully.

As you can imagine this can be very frustrating. Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem.

1. Sounds like the needle is sticking in the carby.

2. The main jet could be partly blocked.

3. Check the hole in the fuel cap as it also could be blocked.

4. If the mower is old the seal in the bottom bearing could be leaking.

5. If old motor the rings could be worn.

This mower is 18 months old should this narrow the problem
