I've got a green Victa, 1987 vintage, which occasionally leaks petrol through the carby if fuel tap is left 'on' for some time. My main problem is that the throttle control now has very little effect on engine revs - runs at about max revs all the time! Before I could slow it down using the throttle control to take the grass catcher off. I think I need to clean out the carby, or overhaul it. Anyone got a some details on how to service the carby?
