Toro 6.5 model 20016 will not stay running

Hello: Just got this yesterday, it is the high wheel, self propelled. Problem: Will not run when hot, about 3 to 5 minutes after starting. Tecumseh LEV 80-120 without choke and with primer bulb. Have checked linkage, fuel, oil and rubber lines (moved rubber gas line from next to engine, though it might be a vapor lock. no improvement).
Any help appreciated. Thank you
