Friend found a dumped BBT 36 cc bullhorn brushcutter which looked OK and thought I might want it as he knows I do a lot of brushcutting.

Turns out the only thing wrong was the nipple on the carb end of the throttle cable had detached. Hmm, thinks, have I got a tiny bit of brass, steel or copper tube thin enough to solder on. Hang on, maybe, just maybe, the nipple is still in the slotted thingie on the carb lever - and it was!

Runs perfect, will do an oil change soon.

Now I have two genuine Honda bcutters and a clone, best of both worlds :-) Just looked on the BBT website, they're $315 new, less than half the cost of the Honda UMK 435. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts out in the battlefield.
