Hi All,

I've recently picked up a Scott Bonnar 45 (model 450511) and was curious about the engine power rating. Mine has come with a 2HP Briggs and Stratton (60102) whereas I've noticed that other mowers of the same model often have a 2.5 HP Briggs and Stratton engine. Did they come with both, or is it possible that the engine on mine is non original? From what I can tell the engine build date seems to be about right (750509). The frame rails are in reasonable condition but showing early signs of fatigue and I'd like to get them reinforced before the fatigue gets any worse, does anyone have any recommendations for who can perform the gusset plate reinforcement welding in Adelaide?
