Not that lucky.
My friend tried to start it for a lady purchaser...... burst into flames....... most of plastic gone......
Not covered under warranty.
The seller puts the claim to Victa.
There must have been a leak ,major flooding.
I can salvage a few parts.....

Christian Dior!! (What I say instead of oh dear).

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Wow, a lethal weapon if ever there was one. Reminds me of the brand new electric kettle I purchased a few months ago. Only had it a week and it exploded! Went off like a grenade. Threw water from one side of the kitchen to the other side, flooding the open pantry. Sent bits of metal and plastic everywhere. I left negative review online and contacted the company who sells these cheapo Made in China contraptions. I never received any reply, but next thing noticed it was listed as a "discontinued item". Expect customer guarantees from China, forget it. You buy, it yours, is what you get for buying cheapo product. Haha!
