Hi Everyone,

I came across a youtube channel called Machinery Restorer https://www.youtube.com/c/MachineryRestorer and thought I'd share with everyone as he restores old mowers, small tractors, old engines, etc.

Well worth the viewing time.

Regards

Dave

Thanks for the share Dave. There is a lot of good information on Youtube, both entertaining and instructional. I often consult Taryl for advice on how to tackle many problems with small engines and mowers. The great thing is you get a laugh out of his videos while also being instructed. I came across one of the newfangled B&S pulls recently with a broken cord. After pulling it apart to find a bare spring looking at me, I began scratching my head. So I looked on YouTube and found several videos offering instruction on how to fix these quickly and easily.

I saw two of his shorter videos of unboxing a MIG welder and then one of a new compressor worth £1450 shocked

Nice to see a UK channel for a change.
Even though he seems to concentrate on ride ons which are not my thing, it would be worth watching as I will certainly pick up plenty of tips on restoration in general. If the video runs for an hour, you can always go watch them in parts as the algorithm usually (but not always) keeps the spot you left off.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
