Hello, I recently purchased a second hand Rover Colt Major (Model 7221). Live in Brisbane and we own a half acre in the Qld / NSW border ranges hence to purchase of the ride on. It goes very well. Has a Honda GV200 5Hp power pack and is in pretty good shape for its age. Had new tyres fitted last week. Unfortunately this afternoon tbe rear axle snapped near the rear drive cog. That said I'm now seeking a replacement rear axle. I believe the Rover part number is 02000484 (I have the original parts manual for the Colt Major). Can you help or point me in the direction of someone who could. Kindly, Mark aka Mike

I've got the original I bought, plus the other I found yesterday and I've committed to buying the body Mich has down in Armidale. I saw a welder / fabricator yesterday and he is going to repair the broken axle for me as well. Given what I've learnt in just two weeks, I'm looking to gather as many spare parts as I can for this Colt. Im planning on going out to our acreage on the weekend to camp and do some bits n pieces around the place including mowing. That said, I was planning to take the existing broken axle off the mower and take it to be welded tomorrow. I bought a wire wheel set yesterday and am looking to give both a orust removal session. Very interested in what you're thinking about as another option!
