I have got all the engine part soaking in degreaser. What would be the best way to clean them and maybe spray them?

Hi dmitr

7 is the code for what model Victa the engine is for , 65 is the year 1965.

number 23,964 th mower made in that model.

People tell me Blitz Aluminium Cleaner is good for cleaning all the alloy parts.

thanks. I bought degreaser concentrate from Bunnings and left it soaking for three days on a strong mix and it does hardly anything and I don't want to get it soda blasted. Would you know of a degreaser?

G'day dmitr and speedy

I just mostly use Steelo Scourer ( Steel Wool ) and water on the alloy parts but if your
worried the steel wool is slightly scratching the alloy use a scotch brite pad .

looks like I don't have time to be restoring and repainting lawnmowers. I have ordered parts for this one and the utility 160. I will assemble the utility first as that is more of a priority.
