Hi all, I am in the process of rebuilding a circa 1950 Ransomes 12 inch Minor Mk1 mower. I am unsure how the bottom block (to which the bottom blade attaches) is itself attached to the side frames of the mower. Does anybody have some pictures of the bottom of a Minor Mk1 that shows this attachment? Regards, Adman

Hi ademan

Here are parts lists and pics ,I'm thinking the Mk4 is a very similar set up and may use the same blade attachment
method.

It looks like there is a plate / hub that holds the side of the blade shaft and the plate/ hub is bolted to the side rail ,I rarely
ever play with reel mowers but might be able to get some MK6 pics if it helps or someone else may know the
Mk 1 more than i do.

Cheers
Max.

Hey Ademan,

Did you get this sorted? I have a Mk1 12" Ransomes that is in pretty much one piece... I know its been a couple of years but if you need help let me know. Alternatively if you have finished yours id love to see it.

Cheers

Marcus
