Mower: Suzuki Rover 2 stroke M120x
I put in a new carburetor and need help.
Engine doesn't run and I'm not sure where this mowers carburetor outlet is... See below (second image) that black hose that is bent and points down. I am not sure where that goes to or if it is just a hose that doesn't go into anything?
Spark plug might need replacing I will update a photo of that but when I first determine about this carburetor.

^ (2nd issue but probably fine) ^^ Also see that wire arm that is the only one shown in this first image... I mucked around the tightness of that nut on that control lever. Also I made it so the carburetor's flap (the side of it shown on photos) is open. When I move the throttle from fast to slowest, the arm only moves the opening (seen in photo) flap slightly and the other arm moves the other sides flap a lot just I cannot see it. I think that will be okay?

Excuse my ignorance (havent worked on a suzuki - though thats not through lack of trying to get one), but are you sure you have the right carby?

I am sure the regular carby has holes so the carby sits horizontally - not at a slant like yours is.

The little hose is a breather - i know that much haha

Yes, definitely the wrong carby there. The holes should be parallel, not offset.

The old carb could been cleaned? Or should i try and find another new carb? I need a guide on how to clean it if so. Cause the mower was playing up when running due to the old carb

There is a guide here for replacing the Suzuki carb with a cheap Honda carby. https://www.mytractorforum.com/threads/the-mikuni-to-14-honda-carb-swap.255222/#post-2293755

I started it today using the old carb and a corded drill as I dont have a recoil starter. It is freaking loud so I had to switch it off. Im trying anyway to put on slanted new carb but I undid a bolt on the thing to the right of the governor and I cant get the governor nor the carb flaps working with the throttle. I am going to print out a workshop manual but does anyone know how to get all my carb flaps and governor system to default? Surely it can still work to just fire mower up with slanted new carb if I fix governor?

Its all fixed. Cleaned original carb with brake cleaner and air compressor. I turned the little governor bolt with pliers to the right then moved the throttle assembly (not the choke) to the left as I was tightening the throttle nut to lock it into place. The revs are down by a lot now and put on a recoil starter.
