Hi all,

First time poster, have started a project to restore an old cylinder mower I picked up a few years ago.

Not much info on the machine apart from the main label (other info has eroded).

Would love some help to identify this machine and possibly locate some documentation!

Cheers

Hello DW

Well, not much is know about this one.
For me it represents a domestic Everyman from the 1960/70s.
My best guess is that it's an early to mid-1970s machine.

The Model, Type and Code on the tinware starter housing
[located near carby] should give a fairly accurate date.

Could you tell us those numbers?
Could we also have the serial number for provenance?

Note that this has a Briggs PulsaJet carby the model will
be something like 80202 ...

I attach images from two 2018 auctions that show your model: -

Hope this helps

Hi Jack

Thanks for your response and for that info.

Unfortunately all the model information/serial number on the housing has worn off so I haven't got much to go with.

In terms fo getting it going again, I think I should be able to peice together some info for the Briggs motor and will use some of the manuals posted on here for other AV Everyman models regarding the calibration of the cutting head.

Thanks again

DW
