Hello ODK history lovers
The Rover Heavy Duty slasher mower was a great
success story for Rover Mowers of Eagle Farm, Brisbane.
Its production life spanned three decades!

These digital images present the HD25 as used by Australia
in the Vietnam War.

Why did the AUS military use the HD25?
I guess the obvious reasons were:
- Australian made
- Cost effective
- Simple, rugged design
- Field repairable

These five images held by the Australian War Memorial Photograph Collection
depict the HD25 under extreme conditions and in repair in the 1960s and early 1970s.

It's a pleasure to brings these images to a broader audience.
