I bought 2 utilities a few weeks back and decided to start tearing one of them down today.
Im pretty sure it's a bitsa but I'm new to working on the utilities. It's got the serial number: 27205227 and a 4 on the upper section of the case. As far as I know, that makes it 1972 build. It's got a spark plug that comes out straight like the 160cc but this has a domed piston. From what I have read here that makes it a 125cc.
I'll post pictures, all and any information is very welcome!!!
The other one I'm yet to take apart has the spark plug coming out on an angle like my VC125. But if I go by the serial number the first one I posted pictures of is a 72 build and the other is 71.
I would say both are originally 125cc Utes, the first one has been fitted with a earlier top end (barrel and head) as there is no decomp fitting on head or vacuum take off on intake, but has the original deck hole in 2nd last photo
The cowling has the little outward bump for the decomp
