My old Honda is starting to show a bit of wear in the pivot joints and axle bushings but I can't find out what the exact model it is to start chasing parts.
The stickers are either damaged or missing.
I can read U T 2 on a part sticker
It had a Buffalo sticker on the cowling.
I have been through google images to see if I can match it up with no luck.
That looks like the SupaSwift Big Bob I recently found and it's 53cm (a whisker under 21"). That looks to be the same width. Mine has a Jetfast Industries "plaque" on it.
I believe the mower is as purchased (not modified at all) as it came from a work for the dole scheme that finished. Should I be looking at it as a Supaswift, Jetfast or a Honda when looking for documentation on the mower.
Mich, I'd personally refer to it as a SupaSwift Big Bob just for easy reference as they look to have the same body bits and that's what you're after. You may find Victa bushings are compatible as my rear catcher SupaSwift 767 takes Victa (as well as Rover) blades and the same front axle spring retaining clips as the Victa steel base domestic rear catcher mowers. I think that was an appeal of the SupaSwift brand was it accepts parts from the bigger makes. A bit like American car maker AMC and how it used various parts from Ford, GM and Chrysler for their cars.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
The mower is a Honda HUT215. With the exception of the wheels the body is made by Supaswift and is identical to the Big Bob. Parts could be sourced from both Honda and Supaswift, it's just a question of who will be cheaper.
