After a little extra look at my 58 model 5 I see something that could be coincidence or otherwise.... love input from experts. The only one punched by hand is the 8, leading me to believe 8 is the year 58.???
All the numbers are stamped by hand ,the number is referring to the amount of mowers made at that time yours is the 218,445 mower off the production line.
