Hi

I gathered all my 18 stuff together and put it on Gumtree. There is a complete 18 special there plus some very early parts for the Rotomo including a complete engine.A few barrels and crankcase too. I put $100 on it. A little interest but not much. Too cheap? Too dear? No fuel tanks or wheels. Even a safety rim. What do you think?

Hi Jeff,
$100 for those bits is a good price, just wait a while and somebody will grab it

Hi Norm

It seems that posting on this forum is a good omen. Bloke rang up almost straight away and took all I had for sale. Paid immediately by Direct Debit. Now what else can I get rid of. I'm getting to like this. Missus reckons I won't need my new shed if this keeps up. Luckily the shed is already built so she has no chance of withdrawing funds.

Thanks Max,

Maybe too cheap eh
Ah well at least it's gone.$100 for the steel safety rim . Really,
There weren't any of those spring clips and I think I mowed off some of the little upstands once when it fell off which it did a few times
All about 50 yrs ago
Missus is happy. That's worth something but I won't tell her about your prices

It would depend on what rare parts were there Jeff as a Rotomo carby with the circlip top is $60. Rotomo starter pulley is $60

The safety rims are rare ,I haven't seen one sell recently .
