Hello from new Pope Wimbledon owner

Gidday all. Just bought a Pope Wimbledon to replace the horrible Flymo H40 I also recently bought. It needs a little love so be prepared for some questions. Cheers

Welcome to these odd but amazing forums.

The Wimbledon was the 'ants pants' post WWII.
It used the newer technologies - aluminium and rubber,
and also tubular handlebars!

Kids mowing their footpaths would have worn Jeans
and Jim boots and cocked a snoot at the kids pushing their
old and heavy Qualcast jobs on the other side of the road.
