Hi Everyone,
Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year. I hope everyone is safe and well.

Restoration is almost complete.

My problem seems to be that I can push the 20" Atco Lightweight 2052 mower forward quite easily but I cannot pull it backwards.

The sprung loaded ratchet in the 2 piece rear roller seems to be working as when the motor is not running a clicking sound can be heard from within the roller when pushing forward.

If I remove the chain from the rear roller sprocket the mower can be pushed and pulled without any difficulty.

I cannot seem to find the correct set up.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Regards
Arty

Hi Arty
I don't have the slightest idea of how the drive works but to me it seems like it might be working backwards. Is there anyway the roller can have been fitted the wrong way around?
