Was that one of the American Bike Bug kits for a motorized bicycle? I came across them in my search, they look cool.

The shop I found with them on their website was http://www.lavernepowerequipment.com/

For the moment, I've done the edges on my lawn.

I'm not that attached to it, it was just cheap(read free), so I wasn't keen to spend too much on it.

I made a new diaphragm, I used one of the gaskets as a template and made a copy of the gasket on some gasket material.

I cut a square out of a chemical resistant nitrile disposable glove, and stuck that to the gasket with a small amount of glue in the sandwich maker (to make everything nice and flat), you could also use an iron but I don't have one at the moment.

I didn't need much glue, just enough to hold it in place while I cut the holes through the rubber (which is a pain, because it's tough) and assemble the pump.

It's running for the moment, unfortunately I didn't take any photos, as I didn't really expect to work.

As it's a disposable glove and not proper gasket material, I'm not sure how long it'll last, but I'll see.
