Fully assembled it today and tried to get it going. I have the same problem now won't run for more than 10-15secs.
Things I've done.
* new g4 carby body, diaphragm, rings, needle etc
* starter seals
* manifold seals
* new decompressor
* new spark plug
* new air filter
* new head gasket
* new ignition leads
