That spring, 32, There should be 2 of them, one on each side. one end hooks through the top of the deck housing (you should be able to see it beside the u bolt, the other should be attached to a bolt on the frame above the deck. #34 I believe. The idea is they pull the deck toward the rear of the mower to tension the deck belt.
