I have pulled a MTD transaxle apart to have the housing welded where it cracked. Can anyone tell me the correct grease to refill it with. Model and serial number, see attached photo.

Here is the genuine grease but it is not cheap and you will require two tubes for the job.

Or you could use "00" grease or at least that what I use here.

Also try the local fuel agent. I was quoted about $23 aussie this morning. I think it was Castrol Spheerol 00 in a 2.5 kg tub. I havent seen it, only asked when I was in there.
