The only mower I have had that I didn't want to see abused was the red Vortex and the reason for it not being abused was because it was in such good condition over all with undamaged plastics. All other mowers are for working doing what they are designed for, including the F/C on whatever base they come on, ditch the base and re-life them as slashers / utilities, mainly because good unbroken, cracked catchers are too hard to come across
